Society of Biological Sciences and Rural Development was established on 19" October, 2004 by the initiative and personal efforts as well of Dr. Gopal Pandey besides some of the members of different fields from agriculture, life sciences and rural development. Society of Biological Sciences and Rural Development is registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860. The society is also registered under IT act 12A No. 58-59/52/12AA & 80G(5)(vii) 2010-2011/5901 and 4/580G No. 58-59/16/12AA & 80G 5 (vi) 2010-2011/5900 of 31.12.2010-11/5900 of31.12.2010.
Dr. Gopal Pandey look the lead with Dr. S.C. Pathak and applied for the clearance two form a society to the Registrar, News Paper of India, Govt. of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, R.K. Puram, New Delhi.

Dr. Hemlata Pant Obtained her M.Sc.(Zoology), D.phil Degree(in Nematology) from University of Allahabad, Prayagraj(U.P.) in 1997 and 2004 respectively. She is having more than 16 years research and teaching experience in the field of Nematology, Post-harvest Diseases of guava and their management by different plant extracts, yeast and mushroom cultivation techniques.
She has published 65 research papers, 125 popular articles and 26 book chapters she has editor/author of 16 important books of emerging issues. Dr. pant is fellow of seven reputed societies. She got Jagdiesh Chandra Bose – indi granth Lekhan Award from DBT, Govt. of India, New Delhi . She is editor of one journal (Journal of Natural Resource and Developing) and one popular hindi magazine (Grameen Vikas Sandesh). Dr pant is in Editorial Board of Annals of Plant Protection Science Journal , New Delhi and co-editor of Journal of Fisheries Sciences (Manglore). She is in Advisory Board of AI DA Beatz Magazine . At present she is working as Secretary, Society of Biological Science and Rural Development Prayagraj-211019,(U.P.),India.
